The decision to demolish a family home can be a difficult one, especially when it has been a part of the family for many years. This was the case for the third-generation owner of a modern-style house on Soi Taksin 19.

After more than 30 years of use, the old house had become outdated and no longer met the needs of the family. The owner decided to demolish the old house and build a new one in its place. However, the owner also wanted to preserve the atmosphere of the area and incorporate old materials into the new design. In order to achieve this goal, the owner sought the assistance of an experienced design team.
