About this project |
The two-storey residential project located at Soi Boromrachachonnani 78 in Bangkok, Thailand is a 420 square meter house designed to accommodate a big family. The owners, who previously lived in townhouses, needed more space to expand their family and decided to build a new house and office in the same location for added convenience.
The design team was tasked with creating a functional and spacious home that would suit the needs of the large family. The house was designed to be modern and sleek, with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. The use of natural materials such as wood and stone added warmth and texture to the design, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the key features of the house is its size. At 420 square meters, the house offers ample space for the family to live comfortably. The open-plan layout of the living areas allows for a seamless flow between rooms, making the house ideal for both daily living and entertaining.
Another unique aspect of the house is the owners wanted to have their office in the same location as their home, which was accomplished by including a separate office space. This not only adds convenience for the owners but also creates a sense of separation between work and home life.
The house's location on Soi Boromrachachonnani 78 in Bangkok also played a role in the design. The site is surrounded by other houses and buildings, making privacy and security important considerations. The design team included enclosed outdoor spaces and strategically placed windows to ensure privacy while still allowing natural light to flow through the house.
