About this project |

Hikari, a cat hotel situated on Prachacuen 36 in Bangkok, derives its name from the Japanese word for "light." This cat hotel boasts an interior design concept that prioritizes creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Its primary function is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for cats while their owners are away. Each cat has their own designated cell, carefully designed to cater to their physical and mental well-being.

As visitors step into Hikari, they are greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The reception area is adorned with playful and cat-themed decor, instantly setting the mood for a feline-friendly environment. Comfortable seating areas provide a space for owners to relax and interact with their furry friends before bidding them farewell.

The cells within Hikari are thoughtfully designed to prioritize the health and happiness of the cats in residence. The spaces are meticulously planned to provide adequate room for each cat to move around freely. Soft and comfortable bedding, made from hypoallergenic materials, ensures a restful and hygienic sleep for the feline occupants.

To promote physical exercise and mental stimulation, each cell is equipped with various interactive toys and climbing structures. These features encourage playfulness and engage the cats' natural instincts. Scratching posts and designated areas for scratching help maintain their claws and provide a sense of comfort.

The choice of materials within the cells is carefully considered to promote the cats' health and well-being. Easy-to-clean surfaces and non-toxic materials are selected to maintain a clean and safe environment. Adequate ventilation and natural light sources help create a fresh and airy space for the cats to enjoy.

The overall color scheme and lighting design within Hikari are chosen to create a calming and soothing atmosphere. Soft pastels and warm tones dominate the interior, promoting a tranquil ambiance that complements the cats' need for relaxation.
