About this project |
This single-story residence is a 250-square-meter family retreat designed as a shared place for siblings to gather during family occasions, important moments, and holidays—while also functioning as a peaceful vacation home.
The house is organized in a U-shaped layout, framing a central courtyard that becomes the heart of daily life. The design prioritizes generous communal spaces, both indoors and outdoors, allowing family members to relax, sit together, and enjoy natural ventilation throughout the day in a lush and shaded environment.
At the same time, the layout carefully balances togetherness and privacy. With four bedrooms and five bathrooms, each family unit maintains its own sense of retreat, while shared spaces encourage interaction and connection during special moments spent together.
Architecture, landscape, and semi-outdoor spaces are seamlessly integrated to create continuity between inside and outside—supporting a slower pace of living and a strong sense of family presence.
For us, this project reflects the belief that architecture can quietly support relationships, creating spaces where family bonds are strengthened through time, place, and shared experience.
