About this project |
This two-story residence is designed for homeowners with a deep appreciation for nature, particularly plants. At the heart of the house is a central courtyard conceived as a terrarium, allowing greenery to be enjoyed from multiple spaces throughout the day. The courtyard serves as a place for relaxation, visual comfort, and a constant connection to nature within everyday living.
Environmental performance is a key consideration of the design. A perforated brick façade is introduced to reduce heat gain while allowing natural ventilation and filtered daylight into the house. This passive strategy is complemented by the use of solar panels, supporting energy efficiency and reducing long-term energy consumption.
By integrating landscape, living spaces, and climate-responsive design, the house offers a calm, sustainable environment where architecture and nature coexist in balance.
