About this project |

The family had lived in their old house for decades and were ready for a change. They wanted a modern, clean, and spacious home that would go well with the modern architectural style. Their new house, located in Soi Sathupradit 31 in Bangkok, was designed to be bright, airy, and comfortable, while still offering privacy and security.

The design team focused on proportion, material, and color scheme to make the project a standout in the densely populated district. The house was designed to be big and bold, with a modern aesthetic that was both striking and inviting. Locally sourced materials were used throughout the design, including concrete, glass, and steel, giving the house a contemporary feel while maintaining a connection to the Thai landscape.

One of the main challenges the design team faced was the proximity of neighboring properties. To address this, they designed an enclosed volume of space that offered both privacy and security. The use of double volumes throughout the house allowed for natural light and air to flow freely, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

The house's color scheme was carefully selected to complement its modern design. A neutral palette of whites and greys was used throughout the house, with bold accents of black and blue adding a touch of drama and sophistication. The result was a clean and polished interior that felt both modern and welcoming.

The proportion of the house was also given careful consideration to create a spacious and open feel. High ceilings and large windows were used throughout the house to create an airy and expansive atmosphere. The open-plan design of the living areas allowed for a seamless flow between rooms, making the house ideal for both entertaining and daily living.
